Is it cold in here?:
"Best of Both Worlds" from TNG, remastered and released in theaters. Better than I feared. Held up fairly well, and Patrick Stewart's performance most of all.

I just watched a couple of episodes of Hemlock Grove and I think it's hitting a really good sweet spot for me.
It's not great mind you, it's very B-Movie quality, but in all of the best ways. It's well aware of what it is, but without being overly self aware. It's got some beautiful camera work and the cast is doing a great job with the roles. It also has the best werewolf transformation that's been filmed since at least An American Werewolf in London.

the family went to OZ The Great And Powerful today. I actually enjoyed it. (I did not expect to)

Ok, the show has introduced werewolves, vampires, a man with super human strength, an immaculate conception and a child who is the product of mad science.
I think I love this.
