I really liked it and I couldn't see why critics were so hard on it, then again they said the same thing about the second one.

Welu:
I've heard the critics were hard on it. I tend to stay away from reviews though. I quite liked it and was pleasantly surprised at how big and ridiculous it went and let that be the laugh factor, without sprinkling more jokes on top.
Although I haven't seen the other two since the cinema so don't remember them too well and how alike they are to the third.

Blue Kitty:
Well the first two seemed almost exactly the same movie where they swapped Vegas with Bangkok, a missing tooth with a face tat, and a tiger with a monkey. The third one shared some themes, but ultimately it felt like a different movie.

Lupercal:
From what I've read, the critics have savagely ripped Hangover III to pieces, but most of the criticism seems to be at the second film, in order to compare it as "not as good as the first, better than the second". It's had one or two stars in a few places, but since when were critics any measure of the pleasure of the masses?

ackblom12:
I watched Rob Zombie's Halloween reboot last night. As a stand alone slasher it's ok, certainly a lot better than a while he'll of a lot of slasher flicks, but there's nothing real impressive about it. I have more detailed reasons for why, especially concerning the character of Michael, but I don't know if it's worth going into.

I mean, in comparison to the original it's dog shit, but I knew going in it wouldn't be able to compete there.

Edit: Oh boy, just watched the sequel. That was just plain bad.
