I just watched [movie x here]
Method of Madness:
You can rent it from Amazon for $2, or buy the DVD for $5 from the same place (if you insist on not breaking the law, that is).

Catching Fire. I liked it, lived up to the book (which was my favorite of the series), and the changes it made from the book all actually improved it.
(click to show/hide)The one thing they only sort of changed was the ending. The last line of the book is "There is no District 12." The last line of the movie is "There is no District 12. It's all gone." Followed by Jennifer Lawrence shocked, then pissed. When the movie first was announced, I remembered thinking "whatever they change, they better not change that". And well...they added a few words, but they didn't. They ended it right there, and I was so fucking happy.
Honestly, I have pretty high hopes for Mockingjay, I wonder who they'll cast for Coin.

I rewatched “A Few Good Men.” This time I couldn’t help but notice that the ground was covered with leaves (with trees still green) during the silent drill scene, but no leaves were on the ground two scenes later when Tom Cruise is playing softball. And now you’ll never be able to not notice that.
I also rewatched “Along in the Wilderness” because apparently it’s time for another PBS pledge drive, and they know it’s impossible for suburban white guys to look away from that.
Thrillho:
I only saw A Few Good Men a few years ago, but it is one of the films that made me realise that a celebrity may be a weirdo (not an asshole, a weirdo) but that doesn't mean their work isn't top notch. Cruise is oozing with charisma and magnetism in that film, he MAKES that film. Everyone else in it is good, but if you took Cruise out of it the picture would be far poorer.
Method of Madness:
Well yeah, Cruise has been a consistently solid or better actor for a couple decades now. (If you liked AFGM I'd recommend him in The Firm)
