I watched W., a movie I haven't seen since it came out. As much as I hate George W. Bush, I don't feel like it's a fair assessment of his life. Most of the stuff about the Bush family dynamics is just speculation. I think Oliver Stone was in a rush to dramatize his presidency, and that left not enough time for an accurate perspective.
That said, the performances in the film are absolutely stellar.

Really? Given that it was Oliver Stone, I thought that it was ridiculously fair. Far moreso than I'd expected.
Re: performances, no arguments here. Especially Dreyfuss and Wright (Cheney and Powell). Their argument in the situation room was easily the best part of the movie.

I'd like to add a comment on the W. movie.
In real life, the White House Situation Room looks nothing like the movie presents it, but it should!

Saw Frozen tonight... it was really nice! Not quite as sneakily grown-up as some other animated movies, and uniquely villain-free... cute but not sickening, fun characters, good voice-acting, very pretty, decent musical numbers... good date movie if you and your date like animated Disney films :o Kristen Bell is of course one of our top celebrity crushes but I don't think her involvement has influenced my judgement too much

Watched The Dark Knight again last night. Still brilliant but it does have some issues I noticed this time.
