That probably would've broken his arm, there was nothing he could've done, and she seems to be ok.

Is it cold in here?:
Implying that sleeping quarters are at a premium despite the size of the station, thus re-raising the question of why Lt. Potter's quarters are so large.

We might be deceived by Jeph's attempts at perspective. Also, as a Lieutenant, she might have some pull at having a decent-sized berth.

EDIT: comparing 2119 with 2124, it appears that the  "upper bunk" in Potter's quarters doesn't have the same built-in ladder that the "guest quarters" has. It's also possible that her "quarters" are part of a larger semi-private "dormitory-style" sleeping quarters (imagine another set of bunks on the common wall next, and the "AIM HIGH" poster is on the wall of an interior hallway to the second  set of bunk beds).

Method of Madness:
Her quarters had bunk beds, so she shares them, and she is an officer after all.  It probably doubles as her office?
