Isn't it amazing how a change of style can really give you a new understanding of the lyrics.

A friend of mine cried when she heard this...

That makes me sad and it's bloody beautiful.

Also it's a minor peeve but I love how they changed the pronunciation of "chandelier" or maybe it's just clearer because it's acapella. In the original it distracts me because it sounds like, "Chan-deh-leh-ee-er" to fit the melody. Very minor nitpick.
