--- Quote from: celticgeek on 17 Jan 2013, 19:19 ---The last few nights I have been going through my folder of Celtic music and listening to one or two songs from each album.

I am currently listening to Emily Groff singing "Witch Of The Westmerlands".

I am enjoying this activity immensely.

...and drinking Laphroaig? :P

But of course.

My bandmate Matt first showed me this song by playing it for me on my guitar in my living room the final week before I had to be gone from that house. I didn't have anywhere to go, anywhere to store my things, my friendship with that roommate had all but dissolved into nothing, no job, and literally nothing going for me. He sang me this song and I cried and cried, and he got me coffee.

No matter what's wrong, nowadays I hear this song and I'm invincible. Just try me, I can't be vinced.

I put my iTunes on album shuffle and got an annoying beep. I thought, "Was that Xiu Xiu?"

Yeah, turns out I was right. ...I'll give them a chance, I guess.

Edit: fuck that

Pilchard123:
The Jamestown soundtrack. I got it with the Humble Bundle and didn't listen to it because I didn't think it would be my thing. Remind me next time that I'm an idiot.

There's two bonus tracks as well. I think you get them if you buy it on bandcamp, but I'm not certain. I'm thinking of learning Farewell, but I have no idea how I'm going to do the scale at 2:20.
