What are you listening to?

A discussion I had lately now led to me listening to Beethoven's 6th Symphony, by the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, conducted by Riccardo Chailly. Beethoven's music gains so much energy by Chailly's interpretation.

And if Paul McCartney isn't to your liking, how about some Type O Negative? The Bloody Kisses album is what's playing for me right now.

Macca I got no problems with, he is one of the last world-eating, nation-conquering super-popstars we have left and it will be a sad day when he dies because his kind will never be replaced.
Wings, on the other hand...

The album is pretty much all McCartney's writing though.

I need to listen to it more, honestly, but I really think that Macca works best with equal collaborators, the only exception being 'Maybe I'm Amazed.'
