Hmmmmm.   How have I not heard of Jim Moray before?

Good stuff.

Morays are known for their skill at hiding in reefs.  Usually, you don't see them until it's too late.

Just got back from watching Nirvana live from Feb 12th, 1990. This was a couple of different video filmed at the local club during the 2nd show of their first tour for their first album (attendance 65 at the original show). Another videographer edited the 2 sources together and the result was shown on the big screen at the downtown classic movie palace. Pretty darn good audio and video for the time and how long those tapes have been sitting on the shelf.

Raw and powerful stuff coming off of that dinky and cramped stage, and you can tell exactly why they became an unstoppable force that changed the entire music industry. Unfortunately, I wasn't into the live music scene at the time, so wasn't at the show, but I remember specifically seeing the music video for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and very consciously thinking "this changes everything". I wasn't even that much of a fan, but if you saw how absolutely dominating and omnipresent Hair Metal was in the popular culture for anything that was considered "hard" in music back then, you'd get it.
