WCDT: 2146-50 (19-23 Mar 2012) QC IN SPAAAAAACE... Week NINE?!?!?!?!?
pendrake:
For comic #2147...
1. Seeing Professor Ellicot-Chatnam's reaction, it is nice to know that forum-goers are not the only ones to 'ship Hanners + Marten so easily, quickly, or misinterpretedly  .
2. While I am certain the 'shippers are in high-gear for it, panel #3 where Hannelore and Marten are sharing the look towards each other was a very meaningful moment for me. However, it was more akin to Faye & Marten's moment back at #1564 rather than anything potentially romantic.
3. Oh, and the way Hanners is depicted in panel #2 & #3 is very well done art-wise, very expressive (and cute, of course).
4. I had just been reading a science article about the Higgs Bosun particle prior to this strip. Either that is very eerie timing, or Jeph also keeps up with current scientific fads &/or meme's (yes, there are science meme's. be very afraid).
5. @bhtooefr... Comic #896 is what you are thinking of, I believe. However, Hannelore used the boiling water on herself in a sterlizing panic, not on the kisser-boy. [EDIT ADD: I see you found it yourself. *taps com-badge* Enterprise, one Archive Jockey to beam up. *dematerializes*]
6. Warning - While you were typing, two new replies were posted. Fortunately one of them is in agreement with yours, so you probably do not need to revise your post.
no one special:
--- Quote ---Scienceweight is one division up from Mistakeweight and one division below Kittenweight.

Where is the Shakeweight division?
Sidhekin:
--- Quote from: pwhodges on 20 Mar 2012, 02:52 ---I read that as that she tried to sterilise herself using the boiling water, not pouring it on the boy.
--- End quote ---
Notice the title of that one: "Wait, On Him Or Her?"
Ambiguity intended or merely acknowledged?
pwhodges:
Good spot - I'd say ambiguity acknowledged, but not originally intended. Only Jeph can say, though, and he probably wouldn't even remember now.
Border Reiver:
First thing that went through my mind on reachign the last panel was "Perhaps the smug smile was NOT the expression to have been wearing at that time Marty..."
