I am ridiculous about wrapping presents. If they are to be wrapped, they are to be given meticulous attention and care. If they prove to be too obnoxious to wrap correctly, they get placed neatly in a gift bag with
just the right amount of tissue paper.
However, gift baskets are the exception. I either wrap them in cellophane or simply stick a bow on top of the tallest item in the basket. I tried to do the latter for the two baskets for Nick's parents. He questioned my methods as we were packing up to head to their place on Christmas Eve- asking why they weren't wrapped because "it's fun to unwrap things. It's almost less of a gift if it isn't wrapped, don't you think?".
Needless to say, we were late because gift baskets are a bitch and a half to wrap.
