It suddenly occurs to me, fun astronomy jokes aside, that Marten has his scale mixed up.  Saying she's a woman of a kuiper blet object implies more experience than a woamn of the world, not less.  Marigold is probably more along the lines of a woman of Kansas right now, and moving up.

On the other hand, one might argue there's little opportunity for human, um, interaction on yer average Kuiper Belt Object. Haven't been in Kansas since I was 3, but I like my chances there better than I think I'd like them on Houmea, Makemake, Eris or even Pluto.
