We probably had it on TV a year or two later than you did. I recall thinking that the pilot episode was the coolest thing ever. But ... you remember that at the beginning of each episode they showed a clip of the uncontrollably crashing test plane, and a "scary" x-ray of his skull. For some reason I couldn't handle seeing that. I had to either close my eyes, or intentionally "miss" the first couple minutes. Sounds silly now, but it felt like a good idea at the time ...
Did remembering this make me feel young again??

It would be interesting to see if the Francis and Marigold relationship sets sail or runs aground on the reefs at the harbor mouth. They look teh cute together.
They should be back on Earth and home - by next Friday.
