Too far to get there from Amherst may be the closest answer, but I dunno, mostly you don't change therapists like pants once you are somewhat comfortable with someone, right?

Dora never had Dr. Corrine as a therapist. I'm too tired to link the comic but Faye explicitly said she got her a referral that would hook her up with a different therapist, and when Dora came back from the first one, she definitely used he/him pronouns.
