That's entirely possible, but wouldn't that mean that the holopony would have followed her in every frame of the comic the entire time she was there in that case? (I realize maybe Jeph wouldn't want to draw a holopony for every single frame Marigold was in) but if what Skewbrow proposes is true, then wouldn't it make sense for the holopony to be with her in all the strips/frames while they were on Station?
In any event, I like the holopony and want it to continue it's existence on earth :)

Correct. I'm afraid my messages on forums are not always very clear.

That is a good point. It would have been a bit creepy to have the holopony watch Marigold and Francis making out though. It is just a projection, but also a sign of Station's "presence" in the room.
Method of Madness:
@Magdalena - It was probably in her possession the whole time, and never particularly far from her, even if it wasn't circling her head.
@Skewbrow - Clear enough, apparently.

Um, the original point to linking to Hanners awkward moments was in response to my statement that Hanners no longer gets called on being awkward. What does your link have to do with being socially awkward and getting or not getting called on it? I can't even see why you are cringing over anything she said in that one.
