It's the romanji phonetics for Sephiroth. If written in the actual characters it would read セフィロス.

I probably should have deadpanned something about how it indicates she's a big fan of Final Fantasy 7, but opted to reference theoretical realms of horror Lovecraft could not dream of.

I gotta go with Near Lurker here. The ratio is slanted towards the pretty boys, as tis all things CLAMP, but there is certainly moe there as well.
Nice catch on the kindle/Death Note/Debu Note though.
(* : I use the term "moonspeak" for Japanese solely as an enthusiast for said culture and a failed student of its language. No disrespect is intended, and a sincere, contrite apology to anyone who is so offended.)
