She is a sculptor in metal, so might well use TIG welding, and it might be a visual metaphor for the way Faye burns Dora? I notice that Jeph painted the gas cylinder the correct green for Argon, a common inert gas used in TIG welding. Colour me impressed.

I really hope she wasn't planning to burn the shop down while Dora was gone and just didn't make it.
