--- Quote from: Akima on 28 May 2012, 06:36 ---Unless Martian surface we see in the background was some sort of free-fall holodeck simulation, there would be gravity anyway. The guest comic is nicely drawn at least.

--- End quote ---

Perhaps it is not Mars, but Burroughs'  Barsoom, as used for a dodge by Heinlein.

"Barsoom" would also have made a great Don Martin sound effect. Perhaps the sound of an indie boy crashing into a bulkhead in the free-fall section of a space station belonging to a mad scientist.

Near Lurker:
...did Barsoom not have gravity?

--- Quote from: Carl-E on 28 May 2012, 08:37 ---I think that's Venus.  Mars is third base.

never mind.

--- End quote ---
I thought Mercury was first base, Venus second, Earth third, and Mars fourth. What would that make Jupiter, then?  :psyduck:

and I'll leave the obvious asteroid belt joke to a Butt's Disease patient.

DSL:
Oh, he's our shortstop.

jwhouk:
These children are too young to the get the joke, Lou.
