Why? Because you like old books? I don't see how anyone could be considered weird for liking old books. I love them. Every week I go to this old bookstore and buy a book, chances are I won't get around to read it, but you know what? I don't care, I love books. The scent, the crinkle of the pages, what's not to love?
That said, I'm somewhat loathe to bring a book with me when I'm travelling, mainly because I always seem to end up destroying them in my backpack, so I bring a kindle with me now.

Well... thatīs why I said NOT THAT kind of weirdo... but, I concurr... nothing more lovingly that an old-new book...
About the sad fact of destroying books in your backpack... you can buy the hardcover edition for home, and the soft cover to travel... ( at least that's what I'm doing...)
And yes... I like Emily very much... can I have one for Christmas? XD
