I don't get the vibe that the date is going quite as disastrously as everyone's saying. Yes, there were a couple (funnily) uncomfortable things said that we were privy to, but there's no reason to think the rest of the date that was going on "off-screen" hasn't been going perfectly well. I agree that if Dora's head CONTINUES to stay in the clouds following the date and for some time after that there'll be a problem, but it didn't really seem to me like Tai had been going out of her way the entire date to prevent disaster, besides the understandable Bubble Tea intervention of course :roll:

I wonder if Marten will really be very closely aware of whats going on. Tai: "Let me tell you about my date with your ex-girlfriend", Dora: "Hey, I know we don't talk much, but let me tell you about my date with Tai."

It seems a tad early to be drawing long-reaching conclusions about the relationship. I'm sure there are more than a few long-term relationships that have had more awkward starts than this.
Not that I'm saying that this one will definitely succeed either, but come on.
