What do do with lonely socks that will never find their mate - turn them into cat toys and donate them to local shelters. Stuff them with cotton balls or batting and maybe catnip and/or a bell and tie them off! The kitties will be thankful and the socks will find a new friend.

That's an awesome idea. You can also pair similar socks and only wear them when no one will see them. You still get use out of them.

I'm finding it surprisingly hard to find suspender belts without going online, and even then I'm mainly led to adult stores. Stockings that come with those rubber things don't stay up, despite what they claim.
