I've got a set of socks in the same vein and I have strenuously kept them together. I do very, very rarely wear them on the incorrect days.

Sometimes I intentionally wear them on the wrong day.
Good thing I don't have OCD

I had some Batman sound effect socks with like 'bang' 'boom' and 'zap' on them. I intentionally mixed them up so my feet were fighting each other.

Well, I'm a dude who likes dudes so I'll answer this as well.
It really depends on what I'm feeling. Sometimes, i like guys to be in cute, colorful briefs. Same thing for boxer briefs. Boxers don't really do anything for me. And depending on the guy and the type, i can go for a jockstrap.
