CLAIRE: "C'mon, you guys. I'm the opposite of Clinton in every way!"
GABBY: "Y'mean, you have a biological right hand and the rest of you is mechanical? Right."
MARTEN: "I wonder if a hand could contain a brain big enough to run a mechanical body? Or would it just be an AI living in a mechanical body with a meat hand? And how would it get a meat hand? I should ask ... no, I definitely shouldn't ask Pintsize."

There is/was/will be an accident involving a copy machine, a space-time vortex and a random coffee-making mechanical dinosaur.
Claire simply picked/will pick the wrong time to try to photocopy her butt, is all.
