The drinking water as displacement thing is a good trick for any addiction - it's how I try to avoid comfort eating. It doesn't work consistently because sometimes I just want to eat and damn the fact that I don't need to.

They look more like Master System carts to me.

Were there more designs to SNES carts? I know the SNES got a redesign late in its product cycle (Sega Genesis got two), but wasn't aware of cart redesigns.
