He could turn up by delivering pizza to the party and then join in on the festivities. Also, him and Marigold locked (figuratively) in a same house for prolonged period would make for some great comedy and potential character development for Marigold.

Yeesh, my sympathies on the threats. I like the anime but I find it weird that people would like it enough to give serious threats.

This leads to a side theory, Marten is a kind of luck equalizer, he takes everyone elses bad luck and they get good luck. It's why Marten can't be happy because otherwise those around him suffer, and if that happens they all attack Marten. So Marten subconsciously keeps himself unlucky so as to preserve himself.

1. Art-wise, the background(s) are great for this strip.

2. Love "Tannelore's" wide-brimmed hat, the bow is even the same color as her swimsuit.  (And QC's OCD space girl shall bear this name for the duration of her coloration &/or story-arc)

3. Claire is very cute with her abject blushing & staring in panel #3.  I am also assuming this marks her as being heterosexual for general "attracted to" orientation.

4. Yay, Cosette (& Cosette's bikini ).  I have been missing her.  Likewise, Cosette's amused expression and "pimping" out her boyfriend's butt was a lot more entertaining than playing out the possessive-jealous reaction.
