Was there something about Marten not having any brothers?
I must have thought so when I put that in the wiki, but there's no citation.

As far as he knows, perhaps. I get the feeling Jeph writes Veronica as someone who doesn't always ... remember ... to mention certain things. Or remember them.

Gabby's the only one whose skin is that dark, so it's definitely her. I was more wondering what he might have told about her, since he doesn't know her.
