A little bit, but actually, my thought was that what it really brought into new light was Claire's reaction to Emily trying to chop off her hair.

I've just realized that tomorrow and possibly the rest of the week is going to have Marten stubbornly keeping this a secret (I assume Claire only wants to tell people she really trusts) while everyone is going to ask him whether he and Claire made out, and it will be even more awkward than usual, particularly because Marten's apparently not into that. :P
