Mafia - Big Village

henri bemis:
Oh, I thought the mafia all knew each other!  at least that's how I've played before - they could coordinate via PM and such.  I've been assuming it works the same way with this game, but if not, I'll need to rethink some things.

Carl-E:
No, sorry, you're right.  And in this game, the masons know each other, too.  What the mafia doesn't know is who's the cop, the vigilante, who's a mason... all they know is who's mafia.  So their hits are not completely random, I guess, but trying to see a pattern from two hits isn't going to get anyone anywhere.

We need more info, and that's either more dead bodies, or the cops!

idontunderstand:
I thought someone would have been killed by now. I can't quite wrap my head around the day/night system... living in a different timezone sure doesn't help either.

Patrick:
Different time zone? Psh. The forum admin is at GMT, I'm GMT-8, and back in The Day half of the forumites came from AUS or NZ.

Black Sword:
(The GM is late, but he had a busy weekend, so it's ok!)

It has finally happened. The villagers have become inured to the sound of bullets. The death of one of their own is no longer an impediment to sleep. The villagers greeted the dawn with relief, before they girded their loins to see who had made it through the night. Headcount was conducted. One person was missing. The search was on.

A bullet-riddled corpse is dangling from the same tree that cesium 123 had hung from yesterday. The pool of blood below the body strongly suggests that poor Linds was hung and shot while he up in the air. Only ruthless, cold-blooded murderers could have done such a horrid deed against an honest mason. It seems the Mafia is trying to send a message.

The villagers gather to try to figure out who did the deed.
