Dear Eva and Tom,
thank you for still being around despite all the shit I threw in your way. I know we had times when we barely got along, but I can't tell you how much your friendship means to me. I am aware that I sometimes have problems with how close you still are despite being together for so long, but know that I'm not acting out of unacceptance. Instead, the irritation and anger was always directed at myself, for failing to have what seems to come so easily to you. I struggled for a very long time with my past, and seeing your joy made me miss that which I couldn't have.
Despite everything, you have always been there for me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to learn to continue, and wish you the very best and more.
