Warm and fuzzy open letters thread, Part I

Carl-E:
the snake would definitely go for the mice, but I don't think it could unhinge the jaw enough to fir a ferret unless it's a very large snake.  The ferret might gp after the snake all mongoose-like, but I think it would probably just try and hide under something...

nekowafer:
The ferret would just want to play with both the mice and the snake, unless you've found one with an actual prey drive.

ackblom12:
Yeah, ferrets have absolutely no concept of fear in the face of things that would normally eat them. It's why our cat got along with them so well, they just never knew they were prey.

nekowafer:
My ferret Waffle, who was an itty bitty teeny little thing, just under 2 pounds, tried to play with a 50 pound dog. And of course played with my 12 and 14 pound cats. And before he got sick, he ruled the roost, kicking the butt of Elvis, my fattest ferret to date.

--- Quote from: Barmymoo on 13 Jan 2013, 14:43 ---If I get into Manchester for midwifery, which I feel is fairly likely, and if I move into the house I have sort-of arranged to live in, which is dependent on the former and also whether I think I want to live with two other people, then I'd be living with one person with pet mice and one person with a pet snake. We'd have to get them out at different times or there'd be a food chain in the living room...

Thank you, you just made me laugh at that statement. :D
