Now was he 'sleeping' there or did Marten turn him off to ensure minimal awkwardness? XD Either way, it does sound like he powers down at least from time to time, if not at a regular 24-hour cycle.

One possibility is that Pintsize is being treated as a child Going Through A Phase.
If they're legally equal to us, why is it legal to turn one off without permission?
