Pintsize was dented but still coherent after Faye dismembered and Marigold thumped him, but one blow from Emily knocked him into a spiral. Does she do karate or something? Generate EMP when hurt?

Maybe Pintsize was could see it coming from Faye and Marigold (after all, they were provoked), but he hadn't really even got started with Emily when she cranked out the surprise hammer fist.
Very Scott Pilgrim-ish touch there, too.
Or, maybe Marigold *told* Emily about the "woob woob" incident, and she was looking for an excuse for some payback.
