I'm assuming this:
* Despite Claire vehemently denying it, she is probably very physiologically similar to Clinton.
* I suspect that part of her reason for going trans* was because too many people noticed she looked a LOT like her not-a-twin little brother.
* As part of the procedure that gave Clinton his new hand, Claire may have already started inquiring about trans surgery and the like.
* AI may be significantly advanced in the QCverse that synthetic hair feels just like the real thing - and, in fact, the same docs that gave Clinton his hand may have developed Claire's hair. (In fact, trans surgery may be incredibly advanced in the QCverse to the point where she may have looked MORE identical to Clinton when she was a he.)
* Claire's hair may actually be based upon her "real" hair, but held on by special nanoprobes or whatever - which is what Emily got her hands stuck on.
* We all might be over-analyzing the joke, and Emily forgot to wash her hands after eating her lunch of peanut butter and bananas.
* - Don't crucify me for using the term wrong if I did! I'm just trying to make a point!

That is so not the problem.
Method of Madness:
It'd be hard to watch that and not react like Emily. Although I'm not sure why Tai thinks its obvious that her skin tone (which is what...slightly less white than Marten?) doesn't go with redhead.
