That is because it takes longer for the buses (which run on diesel fuel) to warm up. Diesel fuel has this bad habit of gelling up at temps around 0F.

Snowed yesterday and stayed. It probably isn't permenant, but it's still here.
Every November, I am reminded that by the time the snow falls, it's bleak and dreary outside with dead grass and leaves fallen that, aesthetically, the world really needs some snow.
