This even more just in - the weather thread
ankhtahr:
Well, here we don't have a lot of wind. It's my hometown, where it's so bad. I'm a bit afraid, as during the last storm the roof of my grandparents' house was damaged, and I'm not sure if they had it repaired yet. Gratned, they live about 100km north from my hometown, but it's supposed to be pretty bad there as well.
Also the 200km/h are not constant. Currently the average seems to be at 25 m/s, so about 90 km/h/56 mph
I'm lying in bed, still slightly feverish, safely in my basement room about 700km south of my hometown.

Today: Warm and sunny
Tomorrow: Cold and rainy
Sunday: Colder and snowing
Monday: Warmer and raining
Tuesday: Cold and raining
I love the occasional rainstorm, but I am not looking forward to being drenched for the next 4 days except for the one day in the middle where I'm frozen.

It is currently -2°F (-19°C) in my neck of the North Woods.
The predicted low for tonight? -17°F (-27°C).
And that DOESN'T include the wind chill.
LeeC:
