Riding to work isn't too bad, because the heat of the day has not built up. Riding home in the late afternoon again avoids peak temperatures, but is still hot. The key to hot-weather riding is hydration; I carry a minimum of 750ml of water on my handlebars, adding more water and hydration salts as required by the ride-distance and temperature.

Man, I biked to my bar job all summer despite it getting hotter than 45C. I'm a skinny little bugger, so that helped, but yeah, drinking water is key.
Bluesummers:
45C is ridiculous. They should just cancel everything in that kind of heat.
Unless you work at a water park, in which case you better be working overtime.
Bluesummers:
Double post because:
OH MY GOD THE SNOW IS COMING IT IS THE SNOW OF ONE THOUSAND HELLS FROZEN OVER WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE RAAGHGAHGAUUAGHAGSHGSHAGHGNARF.
Seriously though...it's the big one.
Carl-E:
Again?
In the bleak midwinter,
frosty wind made moan;
ground was hard as iron,
water like a stone.
Snow was falling, snow on snow -
snow on snow,
in the bleak midwinter,
not so long ago!
lepetitfromage:
The snow is threatening to cancel my first wedding dress fitting.
I have 6 people coming to it all from different directions.
And the seamstress is going to be out for surgery in a few weeks.
This is not good.
