Day: too warm for snow, got rain.
Night: dips below freezing, ice everywhere.
Next day: too warm for snow, still raining, but not warm enough to melt ice.
Next night: below freezing again.
Day after that: busy day at work from everybody sliding into curbs.

I'd quite enjoy a day of snow after a number of 40 degree days (that's a couple of degrees over 100, for the benefit of our imperial-loving friends).

erm, shovel for two hours to uncover the driveway I've not seen for a month, so Goodwill can deliver another couch for Augie to destroy...only to have it buried overnight in snow. fml

This is BRITISH COLUMBIA in FEB. It should be RAINING.
