Emily just jumped up into first place on my list of favourite characters. She was already high on the list, this little exchange edged her the rest of the way up.

Bluesummers, I think it's more because all the girls die? Not necessarily in the show, but eventually? And he doesn't want to deal with that? Am I missing a joke here?
Claire is still kind of overreacting. I mean, that's pretty much exactly what happened with my parents (except the parental roles reversed) and I don't jump to those conclusions. It says something about Claire, sure: it tells us how she reacts to people cheating. We already knew that from her reaction to what she thought was cheating!
