Nope. They couldn't do that kind of work. He referred me to a body shop, but ... well, I can't afford body shop prices.
There's a junkyard nearby with a mechanic's garage on premises. They quoted me $150 for the parts (off another vehicle, of course). All I have to do is limp it out there to get an estimate on the labor costs.
Did I mention we're overdrawn, and i had no classes start this month (so no pay from the teaching job)? No hours at Macy's, either - end of the month and all.
Yeah, bleak weather.
