Blog Thread 4; Live Free or Blog Hard - 'cos we all like blogging

I spent about two hours wandering campus with 6 other people randomly writing basically "for the lulz". It was one of the most bracing things I've done in a while, and the resulting poem was one of the most natural works I've written in a long time ^.^

So after calling every day this week, my wife finally got a call back from the neurologist. She wants to see our daughter right away...
So we're now sitting in the Emergency room at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Again. Because that's the quickest way in. Just waiting for x-rays and MRI's. Then they'll probably admit her.
Thing is, this is all old hat now, and we're all relaxed and able to joke around with the staff. it's like old home week.
The couches in the waiting areas aren't any more comfortable than they used to be, though.

Broke up with her. I give up. When I told my bandmates what was happening, the one said "Go with your gut, man," and the other agreed with me and said "Yeah, you should definitely break up." So I ended it.
She refused to see me or talk on the phone, so I had to do it via text. God. That feels so dirty. I never wanted that. I wanted to do it like a man, like a person of dignity, but I was left no choice. She robbed me of that and I almost feel like I'm less of a man for it. But I know I didn't have a choice and I know I did what I had to, even though it was hard.
Sad thing is, I'm already over her.
