Um yeah when I was practicing driving a couple of weeks ago, in a large parking lot, there were a ton of deer hanging around. Like 20. I had to stop (far too quickly, of course) and wait for them to go away before I could continue.

Of course. Didn't you see that link? Ohmigosh!
mtmerrick:
--- Quote ---The majority of the current population of Chinese water deer in Britain derives from escapees, with the remainder being descended from a number of deliberate releases. Many of these animals still reside close to Woburn Abbey.
The main area of distribution is from Woburn, east into Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and North Essex, and south towards Whipsnade.
There have been small colonies reported in other areas.
The British Deer Society coordinated a survey of wild deer in the United Kingdom between 2005 and 2007 and noted the Chinese water deer as "notably increasing its range" since the last census in 2000.
There are currently small, highly localized feral populations

Valdís:
Them being "Feral" means they were brought over by humans, but have entered the wild. Not that they're going zombie. Look at the chaos caused by introducing commonplace species from Europe to places like Australia/NZ (and everywhere else, but it's easier to see rapid changes there).
Also it doesn't matter what they say in the headline, gonna have to need an example that's A) Not on April Fool's, and B) Not from the Daily Mail.
Not that dogs aren't often caught up with wild animals, of course.
mtmerrick:
They're demons i tell you! demons! xD
