If they're "just words" then why push Joyce to say them? If they didn't have impact or meaning of some amount there'd be no amusement in getting her to say them. Especially not for money.

"Damn" is not a racist, homophobic, or sexist epiteth. It does not target or attempt to bring down any group of people. I personally don't see what there is to be uncomfortable about.

Joyce assigns unnecessary meaning to them and it would be humorous to watch her try to use them.

that's not for you to decide what makes Joyce uncomfortable.  Its Joyce's (or Willis in this case I suppose).   :-P
