Octopus Pie and Menage á 3?

I read the first, and find it quite good, but Má3 was way too much blatant wish fulfillment for me. It was like reading an erotic fan-fic.

Being a deliberate parody is not an excuse for being not-that-great. I'm looking at you, Lonely Island.

Oh, I mean, I don't think Ma3 is all that funny anymore, but it's not supposed to be taken seriously. Blatant wish fulfillment is what it's parodying is all I'm getting at.

I can say that I've never found Lonely Island to be that great. For parody songs I always thought Jon Lajoie was the best.
