bwha?! I'm very confused..."A pint's a pound the world around", my mother used to tell me. And a gallon would be 8 pounds by that reckoning...

What's the metric equivilent of your british pint and gallon? You've genuinely piqued my curiosity now.

Our pint and gallon are simply a quarter larger than yours (i.e. 0.568l and 4.546l) - the history I linked to earlier.
