Also I heard that the PS4 won't be backwards compatible. That is fucking hilarious, and also a huge, huge dick move.

The BC issue is due to the CELL architecture. CELL is basically the biggest mistake Sony has made period since it means that no CPU architecture they come up with afterwards will ever be able to compatible. This is basically where all of us who follow the industry and hardware get to point and yell "WE FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!".

And yeah, Teraflops are "one trillion floating point operations per second".
