On the one hand he's being awfully weird, so detaining Gareth might be a good thing.
On the other hand being genre savvy means it's time to detain cesium instead.
Unless of course this real life or a simulation thereof instead of a story, so maybe we should detain de_la_Nae instead.

Ugh, I don't know. detaining Gareth seems the obvious choice, but he seems more like either the dude everyone thinks is the killer, but it turns out he's innocent. Then again, he could just be wanting us to think that. And it might be a good idea to lock him up so he doesn't desecrate Linds' body. (any further).
I don't know what cesium's really done to draw suspicion, except have a somewhat creepy lab. It can't be helped that in this situation, the lab is going to seem scarier than, say, a lecture hall. That said, I do not recommend checking out the art gallery in the dark.
