Mind you, scaring off bullies (like Verres, for those of you who know your Cicero) with words isn't really Marten's style.

This is true. Gotta be honest, I didn't expect Claire to be the intern to make the leap from intern to main cast, but it looks like she has.

So it's um......erm....uh....that other chick's turn after this arc? Like that one daughter in Downton Abbey. Um.....er.......Ethel? Elizabeth?

Gabby? Probably not. I mean, she and Emily will still show up, but they'll probably be side characters, maybe Steve/Cosette level or so.
