Method of Madness:
Is there a reason it's under 16 and not under 18? Also...this poll doesn't account for 16 year olds. I'll fix that to "16 and under".

Just poor wording on my part.

Loki:
Went through this thread just to find this post:

--- Quote from: Loki on 06 Apr 2013, 16:13 ---*headscratch* why not just poll the birthyears instead of age? Age changes, years of birth remain forever.

On an unrelated note:

--- Quote from: Loki on 08 Mar 2014, 00:37 ---I cannot be 42 in any base :(

Thinking about it a bit more, you can only be 42 every four years (the first time being at 22, because you need at least base 5 in order to even have a 4). Unless you allow for non-natural bases, but that'd be weird.

Dear past me, please include proofs in your posts. Thank you.

(It's really simple actually. To be 42 in base k, it would mean your age is x=4*k+2 <=> x-2 = 4k. So x-2 must be divisible by 4. That occurs only once in 4 years, obviously.)
