I have just cereal for breakfast. Although today I have no cereal at all, and I am wondering what on earth to eat instead (I also have no bread, no eggs, and no desire whatsoever to cook anything).

To me, Marten looks puzzled and sort of like he can't quite work out whether what he's remembering really happened or not. I am reserving judgement on disappointed until we have something more definite either way.
