It just occurred to me that if his mother actually remarried, Marten might be one of a small group of Americans to legally have three dads. Depending on the year the comic takes place and whether or not things are different in the comic reality, there can't be more than a few hundred thousand same-sex households. And while Marten's family situation is certainly not unheard of (By which I mean his parents splitting up and them turning out to both like men), I doubt it's too common.

I had three mothers in law before I divorced my ex-wife. Nothing can prepare you for such a fate.
Also Maurice proves my rule of thumb, always wear good cologne, men who smell good get the ladies.

I didn't realize that Claire was so short. That bugs me for some reason. I guess I didn't notice until she was at hug distances.
